totally agree with this point - and also thought the Jamie Oliver campaign a few years did an awful lot to get us thinking about diet and what we feed our children, as school meals should set an example. I have found that foods my children won't eat at home seem OK when they've been introduced at school - my son tried a kiwi fruit at school because they were learning about exotic fruits and everyone else tried it, where as if I'd offered him that at home he wouldn't have.
